The Pokémon Company shows the first Pokémon GO cards.

The Pokémon Company will release new Pokémon cards on July 1, 2022. The cards are inspired by their mobile game, Pokémon Go.

Fans of Pokémon Go will recognize many references to the mobile game in the cards. There are cards with photorealistic artwork and cards with Pokémon that look as if they have jumped straight into the real world.

The artwork on the cards also often refers to moments in Pokémon Go. For example, we see Blissey defending a gym and an Aipom dodging dozens of balls, two things that every Pokémon GO player has seen or experienced.

There will also be a number of trainer and item cards featuring characters and items taken directly from the mobile game. There will be a PokéStop card, Lure Module card and a Supporter card of the three team leaders.

The set will be released worldwide on July 1, 2022. Below are the products already announced, but according to The Pokémon Company we can expect even more soon.

• Pokémon GO Elite Trainer Box (contains one holographic promo card of Mewtwo V)
• Pokémon GO Special Collections (includes one of three full-art holographic promo cards of Spark, Blanche or Candela)
• Pokémon GO Premium Collection Radiant Eevee
• Pokémon GO Collection Alolan Exeggutor V (contains one holographic promo card and one oversized holographic card of Alolan Exeggutor V)
• Pokémon GO Can (contains one holographic promo card of Pikachu with the Gift Delivery attack)
• Pokémon GO Poké Ball can
• Pokémon GO mini cans of Magikarp, Eevee, Blissey, Pikachu and Snorlax
• Pokémon GO V Battle Decks (contains one or two holographic promo cards of Mewtwo V or Melmetal V)
• Pokémon GO V Battle Deck Mewtwo vs. Melmetal (contains two holographic promo cards of Mewtwo V and Melmetal V)
